We aim to tell the living history of our villages, linking the past and present through documents, photographs and memories.
By informing as many people as possible in the community of the projects being undertaken we hope to encourage interest and participation, drawing on particular interests and skills.
Our purpose is to set up a searchable, ongoing archive which will benefit the whole community, from families which have been here for generations to those who have settled in the last thirty to forty years, recent arrivals and those further afield who may have a family connection.
One of our first projects was to publish a book which briefly tells the story of this community from the earliest known references to the present day. (See Publications).
