A gentle meander through Thurne and Oby
Welcome to St Edmund’s Way, with the church of St Edmund at the heart, this rural walk meanders along the riverbanks and through the farmland of Thurne and Oby.
Within the Broads National Park, this landscape of wide open skies, low lying marshes and slow flowing rivers is home to many beautiful wild creatures.
There is also a rich history to be discovered as in the old field and marsh names we’ve included. Their locations are mostly unknown but they give a tantalising flavour of what once was!
